Turtle's Bar

Located just steps from our General Store is the world famous Turtle’s Bar. Don’t let the small size fool you, big fun happens inside this establishment each Wednesday through Sunday beginning at 3PM on weekdays and 11AM on Saturday and Sunday . Turtle’s is a great place to gather before a swamp tour with your friends and catch up over cold beer and long tales.

Turtle’s Bar is a full service bar with well and call brands, domestic and foreign beer, as well as a small wine selection. Louisiana is famous for a good time, and Turtle’s is a Louisiana staple. Have cold one with your group, then get ready for your airboat adventure! Kick back and relax, you’re in the swamp now!

Our bar features three video poker machines, a digital jukebox, tables for small and large tours, and a back deck that overlooks our unbelievable sunsets over the Atchafalaya Basin. Our bartenders have entertained travelers from all over the world, and they are helpful with insight into other local attractions. We also sell beer, ice and wine coolers in our General Store just a few steps away.

Good times and the coldest beer in St. Martin Parish awaits you on the levee at Turtle’s Bar. Our motto is “small in size, but big in fun” and when you join us for a relaxing evening on the water, you will be glad you came. There’s always something happening here,  from Wednesday through Sunday evenings. We accept major credit cards and host fun events like our Thursday night potluck supper club.

Turtle’s Bar serves as an excellent venue to meet up with friends on our back porch, which has sweeping views of the Basin. Planning on exploring other tourist destinations around South Louisiana? Plan to end your day with a drink on our patio and talk about all the memories you made! If you are staying anywhere along the Atchafalaya basin or at a camp or Airbnb with boat access, you can dock at Atchafalaya Basin Landing Airboat Swamp Tours, grab a drink at Turtle’s, and load up on ice, bait, supplies and more at our General Store.
